Heidi came into the Somatic Trauma-informed Coaching world through her own challenging life experiences, through personal trauma and with a deep and desperate desire for change. She is now on a mission to help others feel seen and heard and to help them safely explore and resolve unprocessed trauma that may be stuck in the body.

Heidi teaches the importance of nervous system healing and regulation. She utilizes several somatic techniques along with modalities like Brainspotting, Hypnotherapy, Internal Family Systems and Positive Psychology methods to help clients create lasting change in both mind and body. She cultivates and nurtures an environment that supports implementation and repetition of these tools throughout the healing process. This level of support invites vulnerability, attunement and co-regulation into a session or workshop setting.

Heidi has an incredible passion for helping others. Prior to her work as a Somatic Trauma-informed Coach, she worked on and off in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer. She formed lasting connections with many people in the community and was awarded Coach of the Year in 2021 by Orange Theory Fitness in her region. She believes physical health is extremely important in managing overall mental wellbeing. Heidi also supported individuals with special needs at different times in her life. She specifically enjoyed supporting them in improving both their cognitive and physical strengths.

Heidi is a mother of 4 and has one angel baby. She loves to play volleyball and tennis, and she loves being outdoors exploring with her large, blended family of 12! She has been remarried now for over 6 years to her best friend and biggest cheerleader; who's support has ultimately brought her to where she is today.

Heidi Brown is an accredited Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach, a Narcissistic Abuse Specialist, and a Positive Psychology Practitioner. She is also certified in Hypnotherapy as well as Level 2 Brainspotting. Heidi also currently owns her own Coaching business, Finding Me Trauma Free, LLC.
